So this is weird and I want it to go away!  I have training classes for my new job and from the moment I step into the class (even when there is no one there)  my heart starts to beat faster... as time goes on I get sweaty palms and feel tense even when my mind doesn't feel stressed!  My body feels warm for the rest of the day and I only really truly feel relaxed when I start to go home for the day.  A few days ago my body felt so warm I thought I was sick but when I went to check my temperature it was 98 degrees and normal.  I feel better when I'm wearing less clothes as my body is able to cool down more, but I remain warm for long periods of times.  Before my panic attack two months ago... I was always sensitive to cold weather and would rush to places that were warm and whenever I was nervous... it only lasted for a small duration and would never affect my mind... When I'm nervous now I don't freak out, but it seems as though my body takes over... anyone else ever had this happen?

I do! I find I start to get hot in situations at work as well. It's like as soon as my supervisor comes over to talk to me about something (just an example, happens in other situations as well) my body just automatically heats up and then I notice that my heart is beating faster and I realize it feels like I was holding my breath. Even though my brain doesn't register that there is something to feel anxious about, it seems like my body does and goes into that "fight or flight mode." It's really odd, and it also takes me a while to cool down as well. It's like the body anticipates anxiety before the brain does because it's so used to dealing with it or something. I don't really have any advice on how to make it go away...but I just wanted to let you know you're not alone. :-)
