Well we had a couple of -25oF nights here.  On the positive side, you don't have to shovel cold.  Good thing, as the snowblower is in the shop.

Sorry to say there Jon, you should try -55 below for a high temp and try to start a diesel truck with a clutch that sticks to the floor or let it run all night long just to go anywhere but at lease we get a good night show of the northern lights but the only problem is that we only get a few hours of day light at this time of year.

Ahhh my puter crashed again..I know what to ask santa for this year...

Thanks to all for kind thoughts and words about my little kitty.  He was a bit shaky on paws for a day or two (think furry feline glue creature stuck to my side!!) but he is back to stashing skinks under the couch again (bad kitty!)

We had an amazing storm the other night.  Huge 100k winds, thunder, lightning, power blackouts the lot.  And possibly two or maybe three drops of rain..yeesh.  My thoughts to all of you (jealous) with lovely WET snow :-)

Lyn, big s.i.s who can I help out with? I'll go check out the post's but email me if you think I can do anything useful (stumbles over feet and grins stupidly) lol!

Skitt - a special thanks sweetie for happy cat support words

I'm hanging out my washing (in the blistering sun - 89° at 7am) and a mother duck waddles past with four little ducklings honking behind her! They have settled in my frog pond and are having a splashing good time! Needless to say kitties are crawling the walls to get out but I think I'll leave them there for a bit longer....too cute.

They usually come a bit later in the year but I guess the drought has brought them early.  They know my house is a good place to pit-stop because I usually give in and chauffeur them to the nearest lake after a few hours. Yee-haa!

can I please have that freezing cold now?!

Sorry I didn't mean for it to sound like we where get that cold right now of -55 but as meant as that was the coldest I have seen it here right now we are in the mid teens and still little snow on the ground AND YES THE BLANKED BLANK MOOSE ARE BACK PULL OUT BALES OF HAY and I got the ok from fish and game to shot them but first I'm putting my name in for the winter kill list so that if I do get her I can keep it for my meat supply

Meg you can send me your heat or should I say some of it my way and I will be happy to send you so cold weather but just ask Lyn a Kitt about all the cold and snow I sent them lol

And by the way Lyn and Kitt I got a doc appointment tomorrow and well I guess we will see how that go's and you are both doing a great job on here Thanks as I'm seem to be MIA at this time

Hay Kitt what can I say I'm a redneck I leave my Christmas lights on all year round lol, I been chasing my horses and the mooses all last night and today as well as moose all darn day and night from my hay stock they been pulling out bales at a time and yes it's dark we see the sun come up and just crest the top of the hill by us and right back down it goods

But on the other side of things I think I just got drained of half of my blood, but on a bad note he popped my back to help relieve the pain in my upper back and then push on my lower back were I had my opp and now I'm in a lot of pain from that part but I guess it's no more then pain that seems to come and go and I'm not stumbling as I walk for now lol

And I can't even ride my horses either for now as the last time I fell off riding bare back from the vertigo as soon as he started trotting back home

I'm sorry to hear about Jean passing on and I'm sending you all ((((((((((((HUG)))))))))))))

I am so glad you can talk freely with her about planning her life and that you have talked with both of them.  That you have accepted your role in educating your daughter about sex sets an example for all Mother's of teens.

I am proud of you Big Sis, and yes this is a Happy Thread for sure.

May the Christmas season fill your home with joy, your heart with love and your life with laughter.

Dag burn regatta horse got loose this evening and ate a bag of sweet feed or I should I say a good share of it, just what I wanted to do is go for a ride at 9;30 at night at -14 below just to get him to start moving in his digestion system and now I have to watch him for the next 36 hours and keep him moving though out the night so he doesnt go colic on me. Boy you just got to love horses EH

Hey cowboy,

I can send Lyn up there to give that regatta an enema............I will support her from here.  HO HO HO.

Sorry my friend for the cold ride and now you are playing Dr.  Poor horsey.  devil

Lots of Holiday Hugs................

Heres one for you Cowboy:

Where are you from?

The cowboy lay sprawled across three entire seats in the posh Amarillo theatre. When the usher came by and noticed this he whispered to the cowboy, "Sorry, sir, but you're only allowed one seat." The cowboy groaned but didn't budge. The usher became more impatient. "Sir, if you don't get up from there, I'm going to have to call the manager. The cowboy just groaned.

The usher marched briskly back up the aisle. In a moment he returned with the manager. Together the two of them tried repeatedly to move the cowboy, but with no success. Finally, they summoned the police. The cop surveyed the situation briefly then asked, "All right buddy, what's you're name?"

"Sam," the cowboy moaned.

"Where ya from, Sam?"

With pain in his voice Sam replied.... "The balcony."

Lyn, we have McDonalds here, I guess they do the same sundae "ish" bizzo.  I'll check it out :-)

The drought broke big time yesterday......about six hours before I was due to fly to my home town for chrissie.  It came down in buckets and tractors and other large things.  My flight got delayed for five hours, but I met lots of really nice, groovy people and actually had a great time waiting.

Holiday happy wishes to all xxxxmeg yeah yeah yeah yeah

Btw kitt, great joke (as always!!!) xx

nervymeg is in the monsoons...........lol.  I love airports.  I don't mind being delayed as long as I don't miss a connection.  You meet people you will never see again and you can hit every fast food place in the terminal.  Some airports you can just ride the tram to nowhere and back.

Thanks meg, I love to find jokes for the cowboy...........hee hee.

It is snowing here again, big fluffy flakes, expecting 5 inches..........I am so glad cuss I love to hear the hubby groan about snow blowing.

Warmest thoughts and best wishes for a wonderful Holiday and a Happy New Year.

Hugs to all,

Hi y'all Doing fine here in the north and still WITHOUT SNOW you two snow hogs, but it is try a little bit right now oh by the way I went to my pdoc and I'm now going to be going to the neruo here soon and by the way LOL DON"T EVER work on your trucks heater and stick your hands under the dash trying to find a wire that runs to the heater control panel lots of sharp things under there and then go the the doc's after I had cut my wrist about 4 inches long not deep but still just a cut pulling my hand back out and boy did I get the 5th degree from him, but after he said what he wanted to say I took him out to my truck and half the dash was pulled out where the heater box controls are and asked him if he would like too grab that wire for me. needless too say that was the end of that talking about lol
