Looking at living in a converted bus full time and looking at toilet options. Has anyone done the same using a composting toilet option. If so, I'd love some feedback....

I went in for surgery (I had colitis for years) mine had spread and they also needed to operate because of the amount of polyps I had and because the remicade stopped working and I'd tried everything...

I had no choice ...my large intestine needed to come out ...it's been almost three years ...I had iritis once before my surgery and psoriasis in my younger years briefly ....now I have joint pain in...

Just a couple of months on and my back pain is much worse ...almost three years since surgery (perm ileo) waiting for scan results .......

Unfortunately I am not a candidate for a j pouch but have a permanent illeo ....two years later ...I have cronic lower back pain too...especially in the mornings ....once I move about it eases...

I researched the internet on a regular basic well before surgery and the hospital supplied information on diet too...can't understand how someone could get it wrong to be honest...I do feel for him...

Same .....I'd love someone to invent something to help.....I've thought about cutting a hole in my mattress hahahaha...

I had colitis, iritis, psoriasis, and back ache over the years (a doctor suggested AS) .......The colitis spread and two years ago I had surgery, complications meant I was unable to have a jpouch...

I usually am thankful my ileo saved my life too..but now I have rosacea and ankolysing spondylitis .........when does it end ....one auto immune problem after another...

I too am now experiencing lower back pain....I first had symptoms years ago in my thirties ...a a doctor actually suggested as ....it disappeared for years and had just returned ...but in between...

I'm another with a permanent ileostomy ...went I to surgery for a j pouch procedure and woke up with an ileo...rare circumstances...lots of complications, a month in hospital etc etc...but this only...

I have a permanent ileo, unfortunately I had complications and the pouch could not be created...(unusual circumstances) I thought it would be the end of the world, and that I wouldn't cope at...

I sincerely hope you come to the right conclusion for you ...it saddens me to hear that you lost your wife ......

You need to go back with your questions....

So nice to read positive stories....I'm like you, but up to my two year anniversary....many awful years suffering with uc symptoms...and a long month in hospital with complications, permanent illeo,...

Tell your family to go speak to the surgeon who will tell them exactly what will happen if you don't have surgery......

Sounds like you might be over doing the exercise ..that's a long way...after such a big operation...just let your body heal....be kind ....lol....and chew chew chew...

I eat loads do sushi without any issue. Stopped drinking coffee before my surgery...

I eat everything ..except corn and popcorn...but I miss sleeping on my stomach most of all...........

Does anyone suffer more frequent cramp in the tops and bottoms of feet?.....lack of salt, potassium, magnesium perhaps?...
