is it routine to have CAT scans scheduled after diagnosis, and why a CAT scan vs. bone scan or MRI. My Dad has one tomorrow (PSA 5.2, Gleason score of 3 they said, 2/12 core + for cancer)....
my father was diagnosed with prosate cancer two days ago. PSA was 5.2 and his Gleason they said was a 3. He was told 2 of 12 samples tested + for cancer. Doctor sending him for cat scan next week....
