... treatment was on Monday the 27th. Port was removed today. I really feel good because I feel I am more than 2/3rds of the way through. Only 33 rads to go. I am not going to family party tomorrow -- I feel too great, and I know that they will make me feel bad. They do not know I had the port out, but my son-in-law is a surgeon and guess who was in the hallway in the surgical suite!! I am sure my some in my family know by now. Fortunately I had a friend who took me.
By the way, I have had virtually no chemo symptoms until the past two weeks, fatigure, diarrhea, joint pain in the jaw. It has been a real surprise, but at least it came at the end. I can't wait until my sleep and sense of taste return.

You sound great! Some people seem to have no chemo symptoms while others really suffer, I wish all could be like you and my daughter. I did not have chemo, luckily. Tiredness seems to be the worst symptom for both chemo and rads. Take care and have a safe and sane 4th. Hugs MK
