Today, I learned that someone paid $28,000 for a cheese sandwich that had the Virgin Mary on it. Thinking this was too funny to be true, I went out to eBay and just did a search on Cheese Sandwiches.
If anyone feels the need for a Virgin Mary Cheese Sandwich, I will buy the maker and send it to you for free. But, I would urge you to keep on reading. There is one of our politicians available on a cheese sandwich. That was the Depends moment. I truly laughed until I had tears running down my cheeks.
I'm headed back out to find some more of "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" items on eBay.

Jo-Ann, one of my DH's friends saw a thing on ebay and it was listed as * Abroken bottle I found by the railroad track* Then the discription was exactly the same and the title! And someone BOUGHT IT! My SIL said some guy was selling a * ghost of his father* b/c the ghost was bothering him. I am thinking....How did he catch him? Was he put in a Mason jar? A Ziploc? A trash bag? But from my understanding of ghosts, they can go through walls and stuff. So how did he sell the ghost???? LOL
I can't wait to see some things you find. This should probably be posted with a warning. That way people that don't want to read about it can skip right over the post. Just trying to make things easier but keep the fun in for the rest of us that don't mind * off topic *posts.

I can see I am going to have to start looking on ebay. Jo-Ann I wish I liked cheese sandwiches. I can think of quite a few politicians I would love to be able to bite the heads off of. I was in Houston on Christmas when they had dusting of snow...and the coast got a few inches. More snow in 1 day than they had over time combined.

Today in the paper I saw that a guy was about to throw his dog a fish stick when he realized it had a face on it that looks like Jesus. You might want to check fish sticks on eBay, too.
And yes, Lori, I saw the South TX snow was being sold on eBay in our paper. Also in an effort to raise money for Tsunami relief we have a painting elephant in the Fort Worth zoo. His painting sold for $7000, money to go to relief efforts.
eBay can be lots of fun..................... and an expensive habit. LOL

I was looking on eBay lastnight and went under the everything else catagory, weird/unsual/things of that nature. Someone was selling a bag of creepy thoughts. So I thought maybe this guy had written down some creepy thougths and put them in a bag. No, when I clicked on it the guy had a white garbage bag over his head and it was filled with air. He said he put the bag on and the caught all his creepy thoughts in the bag. And he goes on to say,* I think they are still in there, it hasn't deflated.* LMAO! I was cracking up! You know it has to be a joke, but it's still funny.

Isn't it amazing what people see in their food? You would think the Virgin Mary would have better places to show up than in Velveeta......
It reminds me of this story that my friends and I cut out and kept from a National Inquirer (OK, we were sophomores in college, and we had to buy it for a popular culture class assignment...really!). It was something about this "possessed" toaster that made toast slices with an upside down cross on them (although, doesn't that depend on which way the bread goes in.....)
And the best part was the owner's quote when they asked him why he didn't throw out the demonic toaster: "Well, it still makes good toast!"
It's always something.
