Advice please on loop to end colostomy

I am new here and was just wondering if anyone has had a loop colostomy and had it changed to an end colostomy on advice of surgeon, if anyone has had this op would love your comments.

I haven't had it done but I have heard from lots of people that end ileos are much easier to manage than loop ileos :) so I would guess the same would be for colostomies too.
