Aging alone with osteoarthritis

Hi! Newbie here. Hoping to find supportive friends who can share their coping skills! I have severe in most all joints, back and leg issues with foot drop and claw toe. Plus other stuff of course. But enough about me, how are you doing?☺️
Alone is ok. Nobody to tell you to clean your room. You get creative when it’s hard to pick up objects from the floor. Got a wire hanger? Pull the bottom as if using a bow&arrow so that the hanger stretches about a foot or more. Twist the middle so that it becomes narrow but leave a loop at the end for gripping, opposite the hook. Now you have a thing to grab socks off the floor. Mine is called Admiral Hook! Bear up under the adversity and be well
Thanks for the tip! You stay well too!:
Hi Miss Loreli,
I am hating the journey you are now on. I was not prepared to feel this way everyday. Sounds as if your osteo is severe in some parts of your body. I have trouble sleeping and get up most every night and sleep in a recliner after taking pain meds.

How are you doing lately?
God bless

I am new too. 57 and losing the use of left hand. Barely any strength in it. Dropping everything. Coping or admitting the problem is hard. People are in such a hurry at the store and I am one-handed. So, you totally have my heartfelt sympathy.
