ALK, AST, ALT Results

Hi Everybody!

Can anyone tell me what would be considered normal Alk Phosphatase, ASt (SGOT) and ALT (SGPT)?

Welcome, Dara.

Please note, as Jennifer pointed out, the reference ranges for liver panel tests are dependent upon the lab performing the tests.

I've found these ranges for liver function tests:

ALT/SGPT Alanine Aminotransferase 7-56 U/L

AST/SGOT Aspartate Aminotransferase 5-35 U/L

Alk/P Alkaline Phosphatase 40-125 U/L

TBili Total Bilirubin 0.1-1.2 mg/dl

DBili Direct Bilirubin 0.1-1.0 mg/dl

The paperwork from the lab should include the reference, sometimes called 'normal,' ranges for each test, so that you can accurately review your results.
