It's quite painful. I didn't even get it the fun way this time. All I did was lift my leg up and twist in bed in the morning and BAMM, instant pain. It ached all morning, I called the gyn and they said motrin. yeah right!!!! I'm going to the urgent care tonight to get the pain addressed. my gyn is part of a medical care facility that has an urgent care unit that will have access to my history of these cysts. I'm in major discomfort, not to mention the mind games I'm playing on myself about the ovaries, which have never acted this way before going on Tamoxifen.

Let us know what you found out. Is it possible the Tamoxifen is having side effects like this? If so, time to ask for something else. Tamoxifen is not for everyone. Hugs, MK

Ouch is right. Those darn burst are not fun. I had one a few years back that they called a kidney stone because of my stone history. LOL. They hurt about the same in the same area, so what do I know. Hope you got the pain addressed. What is that address, I'll send you card sweetie.

Yikes, Ellen, I can feel the pain here in NV. If this is a new behavior that began when tamoxifen became a daily part of your life then I'd address this issue with your onc. AND you're gyn. It's a drug which effects people in different ways and you need to know whether or not these "bursts" are being caused by it. There are other protocols that may be better for you. In any case, take it up with your drs. asap. Hope this finds you feeling better and a whole lot more comfortable. Hugs, Luci
