any tips for being able to FINISH treatment?

I am in treatment right now I will be taking my 7th shot this friday, I am suppose to take treatments till Oct, seems like a lifetime!!!!! They say my Hep is now undetectable but I still have to take the treatments. My mom died of cancer back in the 70's, she took alot of experamental meds, and I have had a real hard time accepting having to take tx. Then again I try to look at the fact that she was taking cobalt treatments! with two little girls at home to raise and she did what she had to to stay alive for the short time she did. You know even though my whole body seems turned inside out, when I think of what she went thru I feel like such a wimp, yet I know I am only human, and I HATE THESE TREATMENTS!!!!!!!

i know how you are feeling. i managed to do 10 weeks over a year and the virus cleared
by the 8ty week but my doctor took me off because my blood counts and thyroid bottomed
out.
Tomorrow I am going to see my liver doctor to decide about trying again.
That is why i have been all over the web this past week looking for
how other people made out.
You have to keep you blood strong and oxygenated. My liver doctor told me
that out of all the holistic treatments she saw tha wheatgrass REALLY HELPED.
i know you feel lousy but if you can get to health food store for a shot everyday
you will be doing yourself a big favor. Also phophatidly choline/ lecithin.
and tons of vitamin c. also don't forget to take zinc and magnesium.
the treatment just blasts at everything so try to help yourself how ever you can so
after you finish you don't have too much other long lasting side effects.
It is so hard to believe that this treatment is as brutal as it is on everyone.

Sounds like you may have the good geno type and be able to get away with the new
24 week instead of 48.
