Can we post the names of books and articles and such that we find helpful and/or interesting on here??
Nancy
I think you can, as long as you didn't write them.
I have read a couple books that I have found helpful. One is called Stomach Ailments and Digestive Disturbances by Michael Murray N.D
The other one has really been great! Its called Why Stomach Acid Is Good For You, by Dr Jonathan Wright.
Just thought I would share these. Im quitting my nexium and I wont ever take another PPI ever again. I found out the gastritis I have is linked to the meds I was taken. Now I need to heal the damage and move forward.

Oh thanks Jennifer! I didn't realize they were listed on this site already.

Nancy> Thanks for the links to the book. They have got some solid reviews.
How personally have these books helped you?
What were the changes you have made?
How long were you on meds before you stopped?

I am totally a work in progress here. I just finished with the books. I was on PPI's for over 5 years. I am still gradually coming off of them.
I am eliminating sugar and most carbs from my diet and hoping to notice some difference. I am also taking DGL licorice root, aloe juice, zinc and buffered vitamin C.
I so hope things will turn around here quickly for me. Im still suffering but I am looking forward to getting better soon.
