Well, here's another reason for us Heart Patients to be sleepy especially in the afternoon and to be on guard!

Do you have diabetes, does it run in your family?

I was diagnosed about 1 year ago with Diabetes type II.

I've been a diabetic for many years. And I also have sleep apnea. I wholeheartedly agree that daytime sleepiness can be related to diabetes. I've seen it in myself. I also, though, believe that sleep apnea has affected me too as far as daytime sleepiness. Teri, are you on diet and exercise alone or on meds for your diabetes?

Hi ya'll! Mr. Ricky, it is so good to see you and hear your voice again!! lol Kathy, so far I'm just on diet and exercise (which lately hasn't been much with my back injury). The cardio told me on Friday that my blood work was good, except for my sugar which had gone up. Not bad though. :)
Are you on meds.? Kathy and Ricky?
