Sorry I can't help you with your question. I wanted to answer your post though to let you know that I have been thinking about you and wondering how you are. I sure do miss chats. Have you been to any lately?
You take care dear one. I will continue praying for you.

I am doing alot better...The infection is gone. I finished the antibiotic yesterday. I was on them for
3 weeks. The pain is almost gone in my arm. I am still so tired. I wish I would get some of my
energy back. My back and Femur are hurting, but I guess that I will have to deal with that.
It is so wonderful knowing that you all are right here with me duuring this latest stuff.
I love you all so much...
Hugs

You are such an amazing fighter. I can only imagine how tired you are -- physically & metally. Please know that you are in my prayers...

Hope that will help you a little. Is there any chance of more rads to help in the pain? This all just sucks. You're a real trooper though, God bless. You're always in my thoughts and prayers. I hate to bother you with calls. I remember all too well that my phone used to ring constantly with loving questions about how I was and though I appreciated them greatly, it was always when I had stopped thinking about this dang disease for just a bit, and I would crash again. (sigh)
Love you - Glenda
Hi Cathi,
I've been on Aromasin for almost 2 years now with very few side effects, thankfully. My understanding is that it is a "steroidal" aromatase inhibitor and that it blocks the turning of testosterone and body fat into the bad type of estrogen.....thus reducing estrogen in our bodies. It does so in a more permanent way than femara, and other aromatase inhibitors. I hope so much that you have good success with it. I have read very good things about this drug and my Onc likes all the studies.
Blessings and hugs ~ Joany
Cathi,
Haven't talked to you in a couple weeks. Glad to see you post and that the infection is gone and the pain the arm is nearly gone. Hope the new drugs work for you with little or no side effects.
Joany's post looks very positive about this drug. Hang in their sweetie. God Bless you.
I'll try to call again one of these evenings on my drive home.
