Has anyone ever heard of this surgery, looking for someone who has or knows of someone who has had it.
My sphincter muscle is very weak, have lived with this all my life, and am getting an implant done this summer..
I'm scheduled for the implant this December.

hey there, wow, i forgot I was a part of this community. obviously not, I have not had the surgery, I was close, but cos there is only one doctor in bc i think, they needed someone else to do the surgery too at the same time as me soo I have not received a phone call as of yet. I actually forgot about the surgery, been busy with school. Still are some days tho, that man oh man....<sigh>

I passed on my first call back in spring because my wife had just had a bad car accident, I was already off work on a disability, and they gave me two weeks notice because someone cancelled!
So, since they do four a year here in Ontario I was lucky enough to get the call this time.
So for the next two months it's a nailbiter for me, aside from the coloscopy which I'm not so looking forward to!
