Back, after a break-trigger

Hey kids--need support and thought of all of you. This time period in the world is so hard for so many, and makes everything more difficult and scary. I hope all of you are coping, as well as can be expected.

Yesterday, a college friend messaged me. My college BF was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He and I had an amicable break when I graduated. He has had some trauma in his life, but success as well. I cannot get over grieving for my sister, who died from leukemia in 2012. I was unable to process her death in the last six months of her life, and cannot forgive myself for being a bad sister. I am trying to do better with this situation. I asked friend to ask collegeBF if it was okay if I called him. It is. Now, I am trying to drum up the courage--and I will. I am trying to sort through the complications in my brain. He once told me that I was a complicated person--and used an ice cream analogy. Your are rocky road--and I need someone who is vanilla. Well, no sh** Sherlock. Vanilla is good---but intimacy ain't vanilla. The best you can hope for is enjoyment of whatever flavor you end up with--be it rocky road or pumpkin cheesecake.

Salve, friends.
Hi Myself,

It sure has been a while. I am sorry for all you have been through. I am so sorry you lost your sister. I can't remember if you discussed it on the forum or not. It is cool to see you post none the less.

I hope you called your friend and I am sorry to hear he has stage 4 cancer.

This forum is really slow now. It was so nice to see you post.

I agree coping is difficult right now the way that things are going in the present time. I am glad there are places for people to connect.

Please forgive yourself for past occurrences. Life is short. You are a good person.

I hope that you post more, sorry I am late replying to you.

Hugs, Karen...
