Great news on the "clean side" the sentinel node was clean!!!
While I'm pretty tired, I feel fairly good. Loved my surgeon, Dr. Jan Huston. Everthing went well, and now for some tea and lots of rest. Thanks for visiting today. I told them all about you! Love to you all!

Just thought I'd say hi again and thanks for the well wishes. Don't worry, I'm staying in my pj's and hanging either in bed or in the recliner. My arms and my body aren't moving all that much, and I just want to relax! I got a pretty good night's rest, and my dear Mom came by this morning and made me scrambled eggs. Our realtor, who is turning into a very dear friend, is bring by a large pot of homemade chicken soup later.
I'm hoping mid-week I'll stop being a lounge lizard and will actually have the drains out and will be able to take a shower. Best wishes to all of you!

Good Girl! Sometimes Realtors are really very nice people. We worked with one for a couple of years and she became part of the family. When the house finally sold we have really missed her. Homemade chicken soup is just what you need! She is a sweetie. So is your mom for coming to help, too. Just stay in those jammies and rest. Hugs MK

that's great news! dr. huston was my surgeon also! don't you just adore her? when she gave me my diagnosis, she gave me her home number, and her pager and was so helpful. she answered every question that everyone in my family had. i love her! she's also an amazing mom. has she told you about all the kids she's adopted? quite a special person.
so glad you're feeling better! take it easy and enjoy that first shower after the drain comes out!
