Alot of the symptoms I have listed.....paranoia.......aggresive and/or violent behavior.......no respect........no motivation...........no initiative.......always wants to sleep......poor eating habits......spending money just for the sake of spending...etc.

Very often kids get into trouble with the law etc. and everybody is quick to call him a bad kid when it is an undiagnosed medical problem that can be treated with meds.
I have an 18 year old son that was dianosed with "Bi-Polar" (manic depression) when he was 12 and he has been putting this family through hell.

Just was peeking around... noticed Bipolar and thought I would read. I am dx with Bipolar. I am a rapid cycler , I am sure i put my family through hell at times, but think of what Bipolar puts me through.lol((((( Hi Jennifer))))))... Also seen a girl that is starting school soon on this forum, i just started myself. Although I have been going, we just started back. Yeah 2 weeks off wasn't really enough. I just wanted to tell ya, I am right there with ya. It's overwhelming and stressful. I take meds that make it difficult to concentrate and focus at times, not to mention sleep alot or not enough. I did one year of Nursing school myself, and switched my major to Surgical Technology ( specialize in plastic surgery or cardiovascular ???) . At least I stayed in the health field. Well good luck to you, you will do just fine. ( I am always nervous, I also "have it in me", but it's human to feel that way/ I am always making sure to be the perfectionist because of my Bipolar disorder) Nice to talk to you guys over here.
