can anyone e xpain to me what an orange stool is?

hey,
This moring the only thing i had eaten or drank was ensure. I had chili and crackers for supper last night. Now about 30 minutes ago, my stomach started rumbling and BOOM!!! ran to toliet, loose watery, and the color was orange!!!  Never had that before!!! No blood or anything, just orange, well brown but you know bright orange to. Anyone else have this??? i think im scaring myself, but if anyone else has had this, it would reassure me, thanks

Don't be alarmed... this is not uncommon. This is probably your dinner from last night and the color of your poop sometimes will match your dinner. My poop is always green when I eat green veggies especially lettuce in my salad. If you are not seeing blood, I wouldn't be alarmed. :)

If you are on any meds sometimes that affects poop color too.

Definitely sounds like chili poop. If you ever spill chili on your clothes, you will see that it stains orange. Dyes are the worst about coloring your poop (red Kool-Aid, for instance), but chili is a big stain maker too.
