Carol, are you out there?

Carol,
I hope this finds you feeling better. Check in if your up to it. Did you ever find the Mrs. Grass soup? I still eat that soup all the time.
I pray you are feeling so much better.
Donna
Hi Donna, I haven't been anywhere to look for the soup since I found that big bag. I think I got sick off those neupogen(sp?) inj. That is one of the side effects, and the bone pain is pretty bad as well. I defininately know that for now, the Crohns and the B/C is not mixing. I started throwing up Wed., but, there is a stomach virus going around at my daughters school, so that could have been it.
When I find that Mrs. Grass soup, that's not in a feed bag, I will let you know. Something along that line is what I need. Keeping you in my prayers, May God Blesss.

((((HUGGS)))) Carol

Carol,
I'm glad you are doing well. I also did the neupogen shots it would start on day 3 and I would get them every day for 8 days. The neupogen shot cause pain to the long bones and the Taxol gets the joints. I took the pain meds and it did help. I had my crohns under control until I started my chemo and then I had a couple stays in the hospital and one treatment delayed for a week. But the time really did go fast doing the dose dedense. The first part flew by because I was in the hospital the weeks in between the 1st ans 2nd treatment and only got out in time to do another treatment. Then when I went on taxol I could fuction better. I never missed work from chemo only the day of. The weeks in between were not from the chemo. It is all doable and before you know it you will be done and able to move on. I pray things calm down and your body adjust and the rest of your chemo flies by.
I will keep you in my prayers. ( sorry I did not mean to go on. )
Donna
Donna, sorry I haven't been on for a few days, bad days. I had my 2nd chemo yes. All bones and body parts on alert today. I think it was you that told me that this would ease up, and then it would be about time for another. I'm not sure. Well, i am up , hurting, you know the routine. (Man I can't type at all after I have these things, keep having to go back and fix things.) Hoping this is not the insomnia again. I did have a big bump of Decadron yes, so i guess i know what to expect.

My hair is falling out now, so i already have my wig washed, and i would say ready to go. But basically all i do is go to docs off. Its always back to back, it seems. Really puts a strain on an 'old clunker'. My daughter is taking the hair falling out worse than me, bless her heart. She says she's not used to me with no hair, I told her she wasn't used to me with one boob either, but, oops there it is. I mostly joke with her, when she sees me comb it. I usually keep it up in a clip, but, when you have to brush it, it is going to fall out. I don't know whether to cut it shorter or not just yet, I have all most shoulder length. Was thinkig less weight maybe it could hang on a bit longer. I have no idea.

That neupogen worked a number on me. Hopefully my #'s won't fall this time, and I can dodge that. Got a good count yes anyway, 11.6, I think she said. Long enough to get the treatment. Thank you for the prayers as I do you in mine.

((((HUGGS)))) Carol

Carol,
Sorry you are having such a hard time. I wish I could say something to help. Do you have two more treatments to go?
I was in the hospital when most of my hair fell out and I felt so bad I didn't care. I feel like it was yesterday sometimes but it has been 18 months since I was dx. I think I was just focused on getting through, that it was over before I knew it. You can do this. Take one day at a time. Rest and drink a lot of water.
I have also found that it is much harder on my family then on me. I think its because I had a job to do and I did it.
That is a really good blood count. I had one go as low as .4 boy was I dragging.
Rest
You will be in my prayers
Donna
