Cathi has gone back into the hospital. She was admitted yesterday in the late afternoon. Same symptoms as last time only not as intense; still serious though.
Her spirits are okay, but she is tired of the way this whole course of tx is unfolding.

I can not believe this. I was talking to her yesterday. She said it was not nice, but she said it was not as bad as the last time. I was so hoping that this time it would be much easier. Crud, this is not what we wanted to hear. Cathi sure deserves a break! Hopefully she got some benefit from the chemo, since she sure did suffer from it. And while we pray for Cathi to stay strong, we also need to pray for the onc to find the right solution to help our sweet friend...

She has been so quiet, yes. We do need those angels to surround her and help her out. Yes, she needs something new. Some experimental drug that will not have the side effects. There must be some out there. They are always complaining that not enough people enter trials. The hyperthermia trial certainly helped me and I never knew about it. I hope her onc is looking into this. I know that the onc here in Champaign can call up M.D. Anderson and order up experimental drugs. Let's pray for something new and great to be offered. Until then, just let her know she is so loved and you know that you are too, Luci.

There really isn't a whole lot to report. I spoke with Cathi yesterday. She has neutrapenia again and all in contact with her need to wear masks. Her spirits sound okay. Yesterday, she asked to go home and her own onc. and hospital onc. who's been brought in on her case said no. I've passed along all of your good wishes. Cathi was thrilled and says "big hugs" to everyone. Luci

awwww Luci she sounded so positive yesterday that she would be able to come home. When am I going to learn she can make herself sound better than she really is. Yep, she got me again.
