You will find many helpful, caring, experienced and knowledgeable people in this forum that will help you in any way possible. Feel free to ask all the questions you want and share anything with us as well.
I'm not sure of anyone here with Celiac Disease, but I do know that there are a few in the Lupus forum that have it and would be glad to help you out if you would like to post a note their.
I hope to hear more from you soon. How long have you had MS? What treatments are you getting? How are you doing symptom wise? Take care and you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I also have MS and a condition called adrenal insufficiency. I actually never thought of Celiac for me...my daughter has had a number of symptoms that originally the doctors thought was caused by epilepsy. They have put her through a battery of tests and came to the conclusion that she has a chemical imbalance. None of the drugs they've put her on have worked and they actually made her worse. After a year and a helf of their inability to help her, I decided to try to figure it out on my own.
I read somewhere that sometimes the symptoms can begin as memory loss, cognitive difficulties and anxiety issues so I suggested to her that she try the diet. She has been on it a week and her energy level is better and the anxiety has improved as well. I tried the diet for a couple of days myself and noticed that during that time my energy level was better too. Now I'm wondering if we should just get tested to make sure we are going down the right path.
Can you tell me a little more about your symptoms and experiences that got you to where you are? Did you have as hard a time as we have finding a competent doctor?
I'd appreciate any in formation you can give me.

So sorry to hear about what you are going through. What happened with me is I would wake up almost every night in a bed full of (crap) excuse me, but this is exactly what it was. Every time I would eat I would have to run to the bathroom. Finally I got so dehydrated, tired and confused that I just could not focus anymore. I couldn't even drive my car cause I couldn't focus on the road.
Anything I would put in my mouth would go straight through. Being so tired all the time was my worse symptom though. Finally, I went to see the doctor and he set me up for a colonoscopy and endoscopy right away. That is when they found out I had Celiac Disease. As soon as I started the Gluten and Wheat free diet, I stopped crapping myself, my energy level came back up and I felt so much better. I do tend to cheat once in a while and I end up paying for it, but hey, we all deserve a treat once in a while, right... 
I would not put off the testing much longer if I were you cause this can cause very serious problems. If your doctor won't do the test, then I suggest you find one that will. Being on this diet has been very hard for me, but I think it saved my life. I eat alot of potatoes, veggies, white rice, chicken and fish, and fruits. I found out that going to the Health Food store was just not in my budget so I eat what I can without going there. If I want a donut I buy it at the Health store. Just the same, I hope you will continue to post ... as many (if not most) of us do have other disorders. Many of the symptoms criss-cross too, so we do have discussions and share along those lines as well ... along with the sharing of the daily struggles with our diseases. Welcome again.

Hi Judy and welcome! I don't have Celiac, but I do have Crohn's Disease and understand alot about Celiac's. You might want to check on the Crohn's Forum since I've noticed quite a few people with Celiac's there. I assume you're on a gluten-free diet, how is that working for you? Hope to see you post again!
