Cousin's Son in Iraq... Prayer Request

I'd like to ask for some prayers.  My cousin's son is in the Army 1-1/2 years.  He was just sent over to Iraq.  His mom is devasted.  We're asking for prayers for his safety from everyone we know.
 
This young man enlisted after college.  He had been involved in a local drum and bugle corps for what seems like ages.  He was marching with their drum and bugle corps with his dad on Memorial Day about 4 years ago when his dad (my cousin, 52 years old) died of a massive heart attack.  Paramedics were there instantly but he could not be revived.
 
Now his mother (my cousin's wife) sends her only son to Iraq.  I cannot imagine the fear in her heart.  His 23rd birthday is March 1.  If any of you would like his address please e-mail me.  I know he'd love hearing from us.

I think it would be fun to send him a package for his birthday and asked Libby for some ideas. I am sure he would enjoy cards or some goodies. By the way he is a medic over there, so he is probably under a lot of stress. Hugs, MK

I'll definately be praying for Rick, doing that hard, hard job over there.  I, too, anxiously await their return.  Haven't quite got on the card bandwagon yet.  I may be getting some more time soon to do that.  Consider him and his mom prayed for and you also are being prayed for.
