Just got back from the Doctor.  The news is what I expected.  I have new cancer activity in the nodes on my original cancer side.  I will be starting weekly taxol, with no break, until we see some progress.  I have done the taxotere (a form of taxol) before.  I will start on Wednesday.  The doctor said it was treatable and thats good enough for me.  Ok, its not, I would like remission, but I will take treatable anytime.  Enjoy your weekend.  Wish me luck next week.

I'm sorry to hear this but am glad the dr has a plan. I had taxol for 15 months as part of a study and it helped me. I pray it will help you, too.

I'm so sorry to hear you have to deal with all of this.  But your doctor sounds like he has a handle on it for you.  I will say many prayers for you to have quick success with the taxol.

Vicky: I am so sorry that you got bad news. It is always a shock to know that you aren't in remission anymore. But, as your onco said, it is treatable. You can beat this again. Just remember that. I was on taxol for awhile. I know that it will work for you. Try and enjoy the weekend and get geared up to fight!

I'm sorry you didn't have a pork chop bone.  I've been thinking and praying for you all day.  I hope you have remission and/or and easier time of it.  Good luck on the taxol.
 
I so look forward to seeing you on a week from sunday.  You let me know if it will be too much for you, and I'll just come visit and set a spell.

I'm sorry to hear this.  I'm hoping that all goes well and you don't have too hard a time with Taxol.  I was on Taxotere and it wasn't too bad.  Good luck!

So sorry to hear that you didn't get great news but like everyone has said - treatable is good.  Your doctor is obviously on top of this and hopeful for another remission.  I will be praying for you daily - keep us updated.

Vicki, I am always sorry to hear when one of my friends has to go on weekly treatment. That has to be a real bummer, but you need to stay with any program that will help keep the monster at bay. I will keep you in my prayers and hope that shortly you will be able to lessen the treatments. Hugs MK
