Epilepsy (31 years) Depakote (250mg x 5per day) Keppra (300mg x 2 per day), Valium-myolclonic jerks PRN/as neeed
Hi Patti,
Thanks for the intro. I am currently trying to get pregnant, and therefore off most of my meds. Which I know psych nurse is not happy about
. You'd think I'd know better there are just a lot things running through my head on what effects they can have on the baby, if and when I do become pregnant. I'm really sorry that you had a not so happy ending in reguards to pregnancy. I'm almost afraid to ask. (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))
I'm just in a bad depression right now and I think the lupus is kicking my butt too. Can't seem to get out of bed and when I do I end up sleeping whereever. And I'm thouroughly exhausted. It's hard to determine the difference in fatigue whether it's depression or lupus. The depression makes me sleep all the time, but I'm usually not exhausted like this. I think that's the lupus. But who knows.
Thanks for the post,
Lots of Love,
Dana

Hi Dana sweetheart. A couple of things. Obviously, you do not know me, but my life is an open book. I am more than happy to share ANYTHING with all of you, as if it were not for you guys, I wouldnt know what the heck to do. I am addicted to my friends on this forum
. I need you to know that my failure to get pregnant had NOTHING to do with any of my illnesses. (see below). I had an infection when I was younger and my falopian tubes are blocked, therefore not allowing me to get pregnant. There is more to it, but honey I do not want to tell you in case it upsets you. But just know that it has ZERO to do with any of my illnesses or the medication I took for them
I hope u r not too confused
. When u want to know more, just ask away and I am happy to tell yu the whole story
. I know being BiPolar it is difficult to hear sad stories and I dont want to upset you, cuz it is a nightmare story. But I swear on my doggies (my children, since I cant have) it has NOTHING
to do with any of this bull we are going through. I just wanted to try to help u deal with your feelings. Like I said previously, if u r intersted in the whys, I am more than happy to talk about it..OK? Until then, keep your chin up and feel good. I am hoping and praying for you babe. Keep me informed
Hugs and kisses,
Patti
