Depression and unstable marriage

Hi all. Anyone here has been in situation of having ur spouse as an emotional support but yet he’s also the same reason lately that’s triggering anxiety n depression as the marriage gets unstable by various issues?

When thinking of leaving, it triggered such heavy depressed feelings that I had to pause n stop myself from proceeding? How do I deal with all this in a healthier way? sad
Sorry to read about what you are going through. I suggest getting in to see a counselor for talk therapy. A good one that you connect with can be very helpful.

Take care.

Smiling,

try to keep doing that. I was the husband in a similar situation many years ago. Many issues in the marriage, nearly all created by my spouse, whom I loved and still do love dearly. A counselor is a great idea. I did that myself and it definitely helps. Every scenario is different and the same. Ultimately, it comes down to your mental and emotional health. For me, I had to get out even though it caused great pain to my kids. My parents had stayed together "for the kids" far too long. That ruins a family.

Find a councelor. Focus on YOU. We can only be good for others if we're good for ouselves.

Finish each day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.
