Hi, I am being treated for sinusitis by my doctor because I have had a constant cough with no infection since November but nothing seems to work. Looking on this site I feel it might be Gerds and not sinusitis at all.
Symptoms: cough ( particularly bad morning and evening), burning tongue and lips, furry tongue (occasionally), tiredness, headache if too long between meals, bad breath even after regular brushing, wind (with smell!!!) stuffy nose (morning and evening), aching under ribs on right hand side, occasional nauseous feeling.
what do you think?

No. It has only just occurred to me after reading on forum. I noticed the thread about burning tongue and read on. I think I will make an appointment .
i questioned my gastro doc yesterday about my sinus issues and he confirmed it was gerd related
What is furry tongue?
Furry tongue- don't know if it's called that really. I call it that when there is a build up of gunk that discolours tongue, feels furry and makes tongue hot and dry and sore. sometimes accompanied by burning sensation on lips too. How are Gerd and sinusitis related?
