Hi was just wondering if anyone else gets heart palps with gerd? I mean i have Mitral Valve prolapse too but when i get gassy or havent eaten i find i get heart palps.. does anyone else? Also does anyone get heart palps from caffeine free soda? Thanks

yes I get a feeling like mi heart is beating irregular and this scares me,so far this goes away after a few seconds. I'm having an ehco cardiogram done and an event moniter put on for 7 days, hope to find out something.I drink a lot of diet caffiene free drinks but I don't know what effect this has on me.my condition seems to be getting worse. I also have anxiety and barretts eshogus.

Yes I can get palps with gerd, but then again I get them without gerd too. :(

I have irregular heartbeats every now and then. I don't usualy get them when I have heartburn, just at random times.

Yes i think this is fairly common problem with gerd,not sure if its related to wind/gas or something to do with the vagus nerve

I get them every now and again. not sure what the deal with it is. Had my heart checked out a couple weeks ago and everything looked normal. don't get it. Is it just in the mind or is it actually happening? sometimes i wonder if i'm just going crazy, or what. everytime i go to the doctor, none of my symptoms act up. why? i can't explain it.
