does anyone have any ideas on how to prevent your lungs from drying

HI everyone

i have severe asthma and i was wondering if anyone had this problem to

when ever i exersice or sometimes even go up stairs my lungs dry out and it gets hard to breathe i take my inhalers and it still happens i even tried nebulizer treatments before and the same thing happened

so does anyone else have this problem and if so do you have any suggestions

i wish i had an answer for you. the only suggestion i can make is to drink lots of water. i'm not sure if i have asthma but i have severe allergies to almost everything and i'm always short of breath. my lungs and throat feel like they are coated with sticky glue a lot of the time. i hear that it can loosen secretions.
