Dysplasia - Dentate Line - ESD

Hi all,

It's been a long while since I last checked this forum as ustekinumab (Stelara specifically) has given me a solid 4 year stretch of complete remission, elimination of fatigue and peripheral joint pain, and "my life back" so I've been enjoying normality.

My UC is still in remission, which is great, but I have dysplasia, and after a few rounds of biopsies I'm going to have to have some sort of surgical treatment probably.

I'm being referred to a specialist hospital in the UK - St Mark's, which is great.

Have any of you been down this road and had ESD (Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection ) or a similar localised excision of dysplasia rather than having your bowel removed?

I'd welcome any feedback.
That's what I would want to do, but I suspect the recommended treatment would be a full colectomy.

Things are very slow here these days, but stop by and keep us posted on how you are doing.
