I feel that way sometimes too. I always thought of E as more than just a disease - it was like a parasite - literally sucking the life out of me. That's why I come to this forum. It's so good to relate to others that don't judge you because of E. Hang in There.

Yeah ~ what really sucks is the stigma that is attached to the word "EPILEPSY". People look at you differantly.
That's why I like to say that I have a "SEIZURE CONDITION" rather than Epilepsy cuz it sounds better.
People think if you have "EPILEPSY" you will have convulsions all the time but EP can take so many differant forms and people should be made aware of this. In fact there are probably a lot of people out there that have it in some form that don't even know it.
The general public is not educated in this area. We have to raise awareness and make people aware that there are a lot of famous people that have/had Epilepsy.
