Elizabeth Edwards' Mailing Address

You're right, Luci, I have that address. This is not her home address. I wouldn't give that out, but it is the one that will get our expressions of sympathy and support to her. Elizabeth Edwards in care of Senator John Edwards' senate office: 25 Dirksen Senate Office Building, Washington, D.C 20510.

The elephant sitting in the corner analogy was right on, Luci. My husband's comment was "I'll bet he was saying things to himself like 'forget about the election, just let her live.'" That's what he said he would be thinking anyway.

My comment was that maybe she hadn't found time to have a mammogram lately. When you're very busy and feeling pretty good, sometimes you just don't remember to do the right things for your health. That was my story anyway. It had been FOUR years since I had had a mammo when I was diagosed.

There has been lots and lots of reporting on bc and how to catch it early and treatment options and docs coming on talking about new research since her diagnosis hit the news. Maybe out of her pain something good re research, etc. will happen.

I cry as I write this. Stay strong Elizabeth and John and God's mercy on you.

As much as I hate to see anyone else get a BC dx, Edwards is in a very influential political position right now....and any publicity or attention that she can call to BC is a good thing. The timing is unbelievable....maybe the election helped to take the anxiety away for her, and now the sting of the dx helps to forget about the election.

Hugs,
Lori

My card is on its way to Luci....to be sent with the rest.

If you would like to send a card in that BIG envelope that's going to EE, please simply write her name on the outside of the CARD envelope, put it in another envelope and send it to me. Glenda has posted Sen. John Edwards office address if you would rather send it directly there.

Personally, a whole lot of cards sent with a nice cover letter arriving in the same envelope will have more impact, I think. But please everyone, do which ever is more comfortable for you. If you are sending your card to me, please post it on this board or send me an email. My email address remains the same. We'll have to put an end date on this eventually. John Edwards did not run for re-election, so he'll be vacating his Senate office and that address will no longer be valid. But we still have time.

Here's my address:

2792 Botticelli Drive
Henderson, NV 89052

Hugging every single one of you, Luci

I agree that the envelope full would be more of an impact. Great idea. My card is coming. Hugs, MK
