---I'm new here---from "Bipolar"--& "Panic & Anxiety". ANYWAY---started new med for mood stabilizer (Neurontin)---& it's giving me a wee bit of acid --(I take Protonix-Proton pump inhibitor-& RARELY have any acid)---Anyway---went to my Gastro- Dr. told him of bit of scid---AND---here's the strange part---feeling of LUMP in my throat ("Globis hysterica---or Esop. Spasm)----I asked my family Dr. for Donnatal Liquid--he gave it to me. But my Gastro Dr. gave me--HYOSCYAMINE--to put under my tongue----BOTH are similar---anti-cholinergics! ANYONE HERE---have any experience w either of these meds?? The Donnatal (Which i like & gives me relief)---has Hyoscyamine & Pheno baritol----BUT---can acid CAUSE this "lump in throat" feeling??? (Gastro Dr. said it does--so i guess he knows--but interested in anyone here---who has this Esophogeal problem..AND --IF ANYONE---takes either the Donnatel Liquid...or the HYOSCYAMINE--tabs under the tongue.---Thanks---Robert
