I have had migraines related to hormones (plus all the other triggers), since I was 21. Now in my late 30's, I am trying the estrogen patch. I have not had success, and actually felt worse about 24 hours later on each attempt. My migraine pattern has changed in the last year to almost daily headaches for a week after my cycle has ended, instead of beforehand. Then I have 2 weeks where I feel really good. Has anyone tried the estrogen patch for hormonal migraines?
