exogene Ketogene someone tried?

hey somebody tried to add exogene Ketognes? I know its a bit cheating, but staying complete on keto for me is are real struggle. And there you have the benefetis and can eat some carbs. Keto should helps to reduce inflammation, auto immun response and more energy.
i have been following developments on these a little but not tried them myself

things to note:
*benefits are limited and short lived vs actual ketosis
*so you would have to take daily to get the benefits - and the good ones are v expensive
*there is also some emerging data on severe liver toxicity - esp on the good ones
*this makes taking them ongoing not only expensive but risky - and for limited benefits

in line with the above - the people i hear of using them responsibly are mainly using them as a perk / stimulant - ie to help them get peak mental or physical performance for one off events - rather than using them continuously

ultimately - most people find an actual ketogenic diet hard - its normal - our bodies are programmed to hunt for calories in the form of carbs - there is no free lunch - but it does get easier over time

ahhh ok didnt know about the toxcitiy. it also can mess up calcium and stuff. And yes its quite expensive too. Yeah going on real ketose is really not easy, specially when you wanna eat just just meat and some fiber. I started my new diet today again.... But i always try to go cut out more and more carbs over the next weeks, its for me easier then going from 100% to Zero. But i think it has quite some benefits specially with candida ....
yep - the benefits start with just low carb vs typical western diet

i have settled on around 30g to 50g of carbs per day - normally around 30g as a reasonable place to be long term - but not in deep ketosis

most people end up eating too much meat to begin with - but its very hard to stay fully in ketosis with a high protein intake because your liver is able to turn protein into glucose through a process called glycogenesis so for this reason you have to be pretty strict with protein. as a result true keto diets are mainly fat for energy - non starchy vegetables for fibre - and moderate protein.

the amount of fat you need is quite surprising - not intuitive - i end up adding spoonful's of olive oil or coconut oil with each meal

i am not a fanatic about keto or anything - its just the only thing i have found that helps my gut symptoms - and my energy energy - and i think i can trace the start of my recovery to when i started eating this way.

for my partner it was night and day different - from super bloated, fatigued severe lyme and bart symptoms - stuck on the sofa and anxiety ridden and depressed to going running every other day - back at work 6 months later. i was against the whole idea until i saw that

that is so crazy wiht your partner.. but yes i can see that it helps with your gut, specially i think candida is making the longtime abx treatment a bit complicated. So i did carnevore once. for 3 years ago and it was hell haha. I think i did it for 2,5 month, and i was just so tired, they said the keto flue is mostly two weeks but i had it for months. And at that time i was able to run and still surf, but the fatique was not normal. So i stopped it, i thought this can be so healthy. Yes i think 50gramm is the max for carbs to stay on a ketose thats always my goal. And yes there is more energy on low carb, and you dont have this crawlings for shugar or carbs after some weeks anymore.. the problem is just the social aspect for me i guess..
