Well, I had a bone scan yesterday to see if there has been any new activity since I started Chemo in March. My Onc called
late this afternoon and said the scan was STABLE...Stable is
good !! Everytime I have had a scan the always found new
tumors so stable this is good. Also, My last markers were 294
and the ones they ran on Monday are down to around 201..!
SO I guess all this misery is doing some good.
The plan is next Thursday I will start weekly Taxotere. We
are hoping that doing it weekly will not be so hard on me &
that I dont end up in the hospital or ER....
Thanks for being with me yesterday...you all really make
laugh..The pink boas and Mukaluks and slickers were
great....

I am so happy to hear the word "stable". I'll be toasting you this evening. That is also a big drop in tumor markers. It seems that you misery was to some avail.

Cathi! congratulations. There isn't a better word than stable. I love hearing that report when I have scans done. Also the fact that the tumor markers have dropped so much. Great, great news! I hope that you feel a little like celebrating.

This has been such an emotional week for me. You have just ended my week on a high note. Now my tears are tears of joy!
