Ok I found out why my left foot was hurting so bad I have a hair line fracture.But the strange thing about it is I have not droped any thing on my foot and I have not twisted my foot and no one has steped on my foot so it remains a mystery.Go fiquer.Just thought I would up-date every one on my foot.............. devil devil devil

Diagnosed January 2005 - Psoriatic Arthritis/Spondylitis
-Currently taking 50mg shot weekly of Enbrel
Diagnosed May 1998 - Graves Disease
-Complete Thyroidectomy September 1998 - While 11 weeks pregnant
Other Complications - GERD/Scoliosis/Hiatal Hernia/Graves Disease of the Eyes
Current Meds -  Enbrel/Prevacid/Synthroid
Past Meds - Inderal/PTU/Prednisone/Voltaren/Feldene/Mobic/Cortisone and Steroid Shots

Mela, bummer. I had a compression fracture of the foot once. Its the kind of fracture that does not show up in x-rays right away. I had terrible pain & swelling and redness. I assumed I had been bitten by a spider and ignored it. Well, that did not last long, went for x-rays nothing. Repeated the x-rays in 2 weeks and there it was. Was placed in a moon boot supposedly for 6 wks. Well, I walked funny w/it and it threw my back out, I wore moon boot 4 days and threw it in trash. LOL. Never told my ortho about it either. sad  oh no!  awe, well you rest that foot & take care of it.
just thinking, do you suppose it might be from prednisone?  i do not know if you are or were on long term corticosteroid treatments, but that will make bones very vulnerable to breaks, even without injury!

Active, Severe RA. Crohns Disease. Chiari Malformation & Right Brain venous anomoly. AS. Emphysema. Rheumatic Lung. MVP and Tricuspid prolapse. Had Lymes disease for 10 years.
Meds: Humira 40mg every 4 days; pred; Pentasa; Imuran; dilaudid; diazepam; Avinza 30mg; MiraLax & too many others.

erin hi,yes I was on good ol'e predy at 60mg for a little over a year and that has crossed my mind and I did develope Osteo because of the predy.I know that I have not hit or droped any thing on my foot so I'am sure that this is what has happen.

Mela, I was incorrect on the foot fracture I had, it was a stress fracture. Hugs, Susie

glad you found the problem.

I had the same problem, I triped going down stairs - you know those concrete type for apartments and buildings where you could (okay, maybe only a clutz like me could) get your foot caught behind you between the stairs as you walk down them. redface

Take it easy and feel better.
