I just got diagnosed a week ago with Gestational Diabetes and have to test myself 4 times a day. In the morning I have to test my Ketone levels and they are high however my sugar levels are all normal Can someone please tell me what this means?
I'm not totally sure what it means. My sister, who did not have gestational diabetes, had ketones while she was pregnant. The doctor said it was not diabetes related. If your blood sugar levels are normal, this should not be diabetes related.
When are you seeing your doctor again? Don't forget to ask him/her.
