With all the SSRIs you're on and at the ridiculously high dose of Effexor, I'm not surprised, but yes, taking them later than normal will start the withdrawl process, esp on the Effexor. You shuold set an alarm on your phone, or something you can carry in your purse or someting every day or just take them as soon as you wake up and Shannon is right, we've all been having a bad time of the irritability, including me, my stable good mood of almost 3 weeks went in the toilet this w/e, no sleep, tired, and irritable, snappy to my poor husband, picking little fights, god, just like before meds, but not nearly as intense, thankfully!

Hey to all. Sorry to hear you guys are having a rough time. Shannon sorry we didn't talk this w/e . I have a friend in the hospital , just dx with lung cancer. She also had pleurisy. They ran some tests, to see if it has spread anywhere else. I feel awful for her, she also lost about 30 lbs, in a matter of 2 weeks. So anyways, really feel bad hun for ya. Seems like every couple of weeks you feel good then start to fall . I don't really know what to say. I hate to even post here anymore, because I am having absolutely no trouble at all. Like I said, it's different with me, I feel it more in the summer. I feel stable , more so than I have ever felt . This med cocktail is perfect for me. So I want you to know, that I was just there not to long ago, and I never forget it, but you know what happens. You need to adjust or readjust and then you might feel better within a few hours. Sucks being a rapid cycler. I still get a little annoyed and irrritated but I know that, that particular mood/feeling will subside shortly. Honestly, your hubby has got to be one of the most tolerable and loving of a man patient and caring!!! So yeah, he might be pis** back with ya, but he still is very understanding to the whole disease. I still get nervous feeling this normal, hoping and praying that I never see the others sides again, but I know that is not gonna happen. So I continue and feel good for now, and will just deal with it when it comes. Remember a long time ago you said, it seems like forever to get to stable, but once you do it is a great feeling. You couldn't be more right. So Shannon, just know it's one of those bumps right now, and soon you will be back to " normal". I hope you get to feeling better, and have a Happy Halloween. Try to go paint and relax with it. Leave the laundry and the chores and get some rest. That is important and you know it. Luv ya , nickie
Thank you Nick, I needed that today. Woke up great, now all emotional, between the classical music, the beautiful dark thunderstorm outside, words of encouragement and affection, and the fact that you have finally gotten the rich reward of stability and are finally happy I am crying, but in a good way. you know how it is with teh good tears. Thank you! And thank the powers that be for my precious husband, who does lose patience like any human being would, but loves me intensely in spite of and he said sometimes BECAUSE of being BP because of all the good things, too. I am a truly blessed person and I am thankful every day of my life.
I'm very sorry to hear of your friends dx, what stage is it? How old is she?
Love,
Shannon

Shannon, all a mess today. Not me, but over my friends in the hospital. Another one in with streptococcus. His cultures not back yet, but normal ct of the abdomen and chest. So we wait, even the preliminaries of the culture aren't in. I dunno!! My friend that has lung cancer, well not sure what stage yet. Both of my friends are on the same floor, weird so I just make my rounds. My friend with lung cancer is 55. All my friends are older. I think I have less than a hand full of friends who are actually my age. I will keep ya posted. I am hoping you will pull out of this soon. I , geez stop with the classical music if it's going to make you cry. lol Put in some silly music or something. Get in the kitchen , throw yourself into something. Focus and concentrate. That's when I bake the best. Usually I start out all angry or irritated , and then I relax, and calm down. Focus is key. I also write in my journal, and go back later in the day and wonder, gosh did I really feel that way. I will be like, was that me even writing that? ya know the one minute your feeling this way and the other minute your all peachy. WEIRDO!!! ( me, btw). if ya need a laugh email me, or better yet I will email you tomorrow. Hope you get a good night's sleep! I , myself am not sleeping well. STRESS ...and STRESS and oh wait more STRESS. I know without stress we are not living, but come on already. LOl Luv ya, talk soon. Nickie
God, your friends always seem t be having some kind of bad problems, bless your (and thiers) hearts! I hope they turn out ok, esp the cancer victim. I don't know too much about cancer, totally out of my realm.
Well, yesterday was just a precursor to today, totally on the ground. Booom, down i went. up at 4 a.m., still up, exhausted, weak, depressed
I hope it doesn't last! I'm going to bed now, will look forward to hearing from you. You sound ok, still doing good?
Talk soon, love ya,
Shannon
