DD Sarah wanted me to hold off on "telling the world" until she had been to her first OB appointmet. Well, she has had that and an ultrasound to guage the stage of her pregnancy, so I guess I can share the good news. Grandbaby #2 is due March 19. They don't want to know the gender until the baby is born, so it will be a surprise. Just wanted to pass along more happy news. Hugs and love, Lauri

Today is the 9th birthday of my namesake, Joseph Glaze, who is making his debut tonight as a member of the elementary football team. He has also informed us that he wants to be called JT for John Thomas.
Jaidan is adapting more velociraptor behavior every day. Jordan is a couch potato and doesn't want to go outside "because it is too hot and would make her poison ivy hurt".
Heather is living in FL and Crystal with her daughter, Taylor, live in Atlanta. John lives in Maryland and Trey lives in Burleson, Tx.
I've got 8, (one granddaughter with a daughter) and I cannot believe how excited I was when each one was born. There's nothing like a new grandchild on the way to just lighten up your days, through the pregnancy and for every day you share with them.
I am so happy for you. Grandchildren are God's promise that the world will go on. God bless all of you.

Lauri: Congratulations!!!!! Nothing is more exciting than hearing that you are going to be a grandparent. I have 4 grandchildren now....3 granddaughters, ages 10, 5 and 2..and my youngest dd gave me my first grandson on June 1. We have dubbed him the "little prince" lol Each one is just as exciting and wonderful as the first. I hope that your dd has an uneventful and healthy pregnancy and that you can contain yourself from buying lots of gifts. (I sure didn't)
My favorite saying is...."Every time a childs is born, a grandparent is born, too!

I got sidetracked yesterday because I had to go pick up my grandson at school and never did get back to tell you congratulations. I know you are thrilled and so excited. Each grandchild is so different and each is a joy. Christian, the one I pick up at school and take home a few days each week is now in 8th grade and it has turned out that he is quite talented as a trombonist. His band director has told me numerous times he is the best student she has ever had. Her son also plays the trombone in HS now and she says Christian is the best. LOL Natalie will be ten soon and she is very good on horseback, she and her mother ride in little local rodeos barrel racing. My daughter and grand daughter are cowgirls. LOL.
Anyhow, I know this grandchild will be just as special as your first! You will enjoy him or her just as much and they will be so different.

Congratulations! I got to snuggle with number 8 grandbaby this weekend - at 3 months old he has turned into a real butterball! Those snuggles just can't be beat!
