Going to see surgeon next week...

I haven't posted in awhile, but I have been keeping tabs on everyone. I have been sad about some postings, but very encouraged by others.

I am going to see my surgeon next Friday. I feel some lumpiness near my port scar and I want to get it checked out. Nothing feels hard. It feels squishy and moveable so I am pretty confident that it is nothing, but I have been worrying, so I want to see my dr. to get things checked out.

I can use a little PCE for next Friday! And, I include all of you in my prayers every day!

Good to hear from you Sam! I will be hopping on the PCE next Friday and I will bring chocolate for everyone! Prayers it is nothing but a squishy pork chop bone! L&H, Gail

Hi Sam.  I'll be there Friday too.  Prayers from here too that it is nothing but a squishy pork chop bone.  Hugs, Libby

Friends are God's way of taking really good care of us.

Hope the lumps are something simple like fat cells or fluid moving around. LOL. I will be with you in spirit. Hugs and prayers. MK

As Michele likes to say, sometimes lumps is just lumps. Let's hope this is one of them. Sending comforting hugs, Lauri

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

I'm for plain old scar tissue around the port. Look for me on the PCE; I'll be the one with the M&M chocolate peanut candies. Hugs, Luci

it was so good to see your name and "hear your voice".  I know you will be fine, but it is important that you have it checked anyways.  I'll be getting my port out in December (finally!) and will be interested to know what you find out.  Good luck!

I had my one year post-treatment checkup this past week, including a visit to the rad oncologist, surgeon, med oncologist, chest x-ray, blood work to check LFT, and my first mammo.  All were NORMAL!!!!!  Wahoo~~~~

Great to hear from you, let us know the outcome

Donna!

SO good to hear from you!

Thank you for the well wishes. I am sure everything is fine, but I would rather have things checked out so that I feel better about it.

I go in Friday at 9am!
