Well folks,

Has not been a good day here either. You know I have been complaining with the blurred vision and double vision, even so bad I can not drive. So made an appt, to get my glasses changed. nono Well will not be getting new glasses for awhile. Have to have 3 different surgeries. I have narrow angle ..something, I can not remember what the other word was the doc said. I also have a cyst on my Right eyeball. Will have to have 3 separate surgeries for this. I am not a happy camper right now. redface It is very scary, I knew something was not right, when I stand I get really blurrred vision and doc said the pressure in my eyes is rising..the double and blurred vision. Is worried it may be rising while I am sleeping, but did not say why she was worrried. So, OK, I am a mess tonight.

I just wanted to go in, get my eyes checked and get some new glasses, I never asked her to check for all this other stuff. tongue

Will not find out untill tomorrow when the first surgery will be scheduled, sometime in 2502 would be good for me. yeah

Hope everyone had a better day than me today..mine was fine till about 3:00 PM, guess I will go find me a corner to crawl in for a while and debate with myself about this. Don't want to do it eyes

oh Flopsie! narrow angle glaucoma?? that would be quite common with being diabetic. your eyes are very very VERY vulnerable particularly with the BP in the eye vessels and capillaries.
when the doc mentioned "...at night...", i would say try sleeping @ 30 degrees if possible, to prevent pressure in the eyes.
this is scary for you i'm sure. i get freaked out by anything with my eyes! awe, my poor Flop.
you've quite the journey ahead of you.
if you have to think of it positively, think of it this way: You got to the bottom of this BEFORE it was TOO LATE! many people who ignore this stuff go blind because they do not act on it.
SO YOU DID A GREAT THING FLOPSIE!!!! you just saved yourself.
i would talk to as many people i can get my hands on who have had eye surgeries. they're very common, especially for glaucoma and all.
things will go accordingly, try not to worry...i know you will though. but you are doing the right thing.
will say a prayer for you tonite. you must be very stressed out. i hope you get a little rest tonite.

Hi Erin, I don't think she said Glaucoma, I think it strted with a B...am very stressed, but just in case I am wrong about the Glaucoma, (don't think I am" what kind of surgery, what are they going to do? Does it say in your books? Not familiar with this at all. All I know about glaucoma is when you put the drops in the patients eyes, you must take pulse before you put drops in :(

Never mind erin, I talked with the doc tonight and found out they will make a new opening for the fluid to drain out of. They have to do one eye at a time and they can not remove the cyst during either one of those procedures...hey, I am too young for this...@#$#@#$ to the doc that let me go so long before he told me I was a diabetic GRRR, boy what I woud like to do to him. i still don't want to do this, but if I am going to see my puter, guess I will have to. Still will not find out till tomorrow when the OP calls to schedule..well HA! I did not want to sleep anyway. Oh, and yes I can raise the head of my bed up, I just do not like to, makes me feel like I am in a hospital..... lolol eyes

eyes  I'm feeling that a lot of people are going through some rough times right now.
Flopsie, am thinking of you!!
Ducky, how's the chest pain today??

Today I scrounged up every bit of energy I had to get up to the general assistance building.  I should have known better...it wasn't a great idea.  It really is torture there!!  Is NO PLACE for anyone with mobolity problems or who is ill.
Waited around for 3 hours and had to leave before everything was completed due to pain (and also running to the bathroom). sad

And it was really depressing too.  I would give anything to just be able to work like how I used to.

I need to get rid of this disease, because going through these processes is almost impossible.  I really hope the future is a lot different than it is right now.

So yeah, I suppose I'm disgusted and angry.
Maybe disibility is easier than this mess right now.
I just don't see how a person with an illness is capable of doing all of this standing, waiting, traveling, back and forth, all day long system of getting assistance!  I know I sure couldn't do it!

With my rant n' rave being said...
I'm really thinking of & hoping for all good things for everyone who has it rough right now.

When this low...can only go up from here, right?! :-)
Hello everyone,
Erin, I feel so bad for you. wish I could come and do all that for you(((((erin)))))

Well, will be having my first surgery on Monday, then will have to wait 2 weeks for that to heal before next one. Then two weeks before the last one. Oh How I dread it, I hate doctors and hospitals from the patient side. LOL

Ducky, is the pain still with you today?
Camama, hope you are doing well also, and have those darn papers finished.

BTW, erin, did you ever watch the eye surgery? The only thing in my whole career that made me sick at my tummy was watching the doc stick the needle in the eyeball to completely numb it (after the numbing drops) course the patient was asleep and di not feel it, but I sure did...lololol

everyone take care

Another BTW..Erin, I don't see a thing Humor-ous about this eyes sad

I agree!  I can live with the effects of the CD and heck, even the sparse occurrences of seizures from the Chiari Malformation....and if jacked up on enough caffeine, I could probably pull through most of the fatigue.  But it is this %#** joint pain that is ruining everything!
Pain is the thing keeping me from living normally (and lack of stamina due to weakness). mad

Camama, I'm sending you good thoughts and {{{{{{{ hugs }}}}}}}}}}....living with what we're going through is difficult, and maybe difficult doesn't even begin to describe it.

The weekend is here!!!!  Hope it is nice and SPOOKY!!!  Looking forward to some monster movies. devil

Good Moanin All,

Had my surgery yesterday and it was #@#@#@. It did not hurt when I first woke up, but did not take long to start. Could not focus, and of course, light REALLY HURT. Had on the dark glasses, but did not help pain much. Came to puter room as soon as I got home and could not even see it. So just took another pain pill and went to bed about 9:00 pm.Woke up at 4:00 and still in pain, can not go back to sleep, but can focus a little better. Am very nauseated and my tummy hurts too, must be all that mediyuck they put in my system.

Everyone have a good day,

flopsie
