I got him "ALLURE" homme by channell and Stella Artois challesses...they're like fancy goblets. Had fun wrapping them. I like celebrating other people's birthdays...not too much my own.
Congrats on your workouts! Hows the knees holding up?? I loved to bike ride. How's the Enbrel working for you? Think it's been beneficial?

Hey Erin -
Workouts are going good, did Pilates yesterday as well as went to the gym and rode the stationary bike for 35 minutes... Baby steps... I figure whatever I do is more than what I used to do right? I went and saw an Exercise Physiologist and she gave me an exercise prescription, so I've been trying to follow that. I have to do a cardio workout 4-5 times a week for at least 30 -45 minutes... Then I have to do stretching/strength exercises throughout the week also, that's why I am doing the Pilates. Knees aren't happy with me, but they'll get over it! 
I refuse to let this get me down anymore. I'm gonna work through it, I've set my mind and that's all there is to it. After this weekend, my feet and my knees were hurting badly, so I took Monday off exercise wise and picked back up on it Tuesday. I don't want to have too many down days 'cause then I will get right back to where I was in the first place...
Anyways - what time is your dr's appointment? I hope you get some relief soon. I am very excited about you getting the help you need... FINALLY!
The Enbrel seems to be working well for me... At least so far so good...

hey all,
tushy is sore! shot to both cheeks and they're weren't smilin' either! naw...they're OK, just hurts to sit.
the steroids should help ease up this flare.
doc filled out the disability forms from SSI for me too real quick. so things feel like they're getting accomplished.
get a day off tomorrow from all docs & papers...hooray.
hoping everyone is doing OK.
I hope things start moving for you quickly, Erin as well as those shots kicking in!

In SoCal, it's warm...we had a nasty heat wave last week, over 100 for a few days straight. It was SO hot, the sun just blared and you felt like you were burning within in a minute of being out there. Most days this week are in the 90's, but one day was cool (mid 80's.) I guess the weather is a result of some of the hurricanes. We in fire season now.....since the Oct 2003 fires, we're always on alert now. The extreme heat on the already dry grass is bad enough, but if we get the strong santa ana winds......not a good combo.

Camama...there have been brush fires here too; practically no rain over the summer. it feels like rain though now!! think it's comin'.
Ducky, the movie was very cute! i recommend it, "A Wedding for Bella" it has Scott Baio in in it! wow, that was like one of my first crushes.
was thinking i would feel a lot better but no good. really uncomfortable & some gut problems on top...and i needed to get some stuff done today; but oh well..it can wait.
in a lot of pain and plain old uncomfortable. it'll be better...it's gotta let up sometime!

Evening everyone, Have just almost slept the day away..again. Got up at noon, stayed up till about 3 or so, then felt like I could not go another minute. Laid down on the couch and slept till 5:30..darn, gotta do somethin about this. Think it is just a fibro flare, cold front coming in, day is yucky..rainy and cloudy, may have to use the fireplace tonight.

It's still 100 degrees this week (not the 90 they promised w/the exception of that one day) - but, I ended up taking yesterday off as a 'gel' day....I only worked out twice this week so far, but have been trying to keep busy/active most days. I "owe" myself 2 more workouts before Monday.
My weight hasn't budged. I see PCP on Monday and I"m going to get an earful and I am fearful to what the blood work will say that she is supposed to send me in for. My sugar and choloestrol were climbing last tests.

Good Moanin, My Friends,
eeek, it is a moanin kind of day for me. The sun is shining and it is beautiful outside, but it sure is gloomy inside. Went to the bank for cash, came right back home and now feel like I need to go back to bed, am so exhausted. I soooo wish this would go away. Jusy wanted to tell, you, I know there has been pro's and con's about things " in your jeans..oops Genes", I ran into one of my cousins yesterday, I have not seen in about 3 years, and had I not recognized her voice, I would not have known who she was. Turns out she has exact same things I do. Her daddy was my mother's brother. another one for you, you all know I live on a lake that does not have many year round residents, I have been here for 2 years now. Turns out, she lives here also year round about a mile from me, we ran into each other at the marina store. How weird is that?
Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend and gets to go and do some fun stuff,
