Hey all, gonna pipe in my moaning - if you haven't picked it up in my other posts tonight.
Been sick all week. Too much Motrin this past month has done me in. My liver is officially on the fritz again...everything from the rib cage to pelvic bone is screaming. The fatigue is insane. If I haven't already had mono twice in my life, I'd swear I have it now (or I was preggers, which I am definitely not - which made me think miscarriage except I was "right on time." - sorry guys!) Now the joints are crying because I haven't taken any meds all week. My gut is still not happy - I don't know if it's just the liver, I've got a bug, or something else is going on. The cramping is all over the place and when the fatigue hits, I can't blink w/o falling asleep.
Of course, maybe some of this is my fault as well, so I feel stupid for complaining. I could tell the Motrin was getting to the liver 2 weeks ago and I didn't take better precautions. Well, at least last week I didn't when I had company down (staying with me) and not only did I over do it for the week, but my eating habits were horrible with eating out, eating quick (meaning not healthy), and I'm sure eating too big of meals most of the week. Knowing my liver was already acting up, I should have been much smarter, but went with convenience instead. I started to cut back on the Motrin as best I could, but the pms cramping and the joints were too much and I started taking it again since I didn't want to be down and out with visitors here.
Anyway, I know you all are dealing with much more, so I'm sorry for venting such stupid stuff. I guess it doesn't really belong in this forum anyway, but here's where I hang. Have a good weekend everyone ***

I had some breakfast, and my stomach is cramping and grumbling a bit, but so far not as bad as it was. My son is complaining HIS stomach hurts this morning which leads me to believe some of what I've had is a bug. I've been trying to eat light this week (when I can eat) and will wait it out. The fact I get really tired after I eat concerns me about the diabetes issue we discussed in the other post - I know I've been borderline diabetic because of my liver and weight issues.
Speaking of, I wrote you a long reply in the other post.
No, I haven't gone to the doctor....I'm still waaaaay over due to see everyone. 
I think I'm going to change rhuemy's - the clinic I go to opened up an office right by my house (yeah!) I've hesitated changing because the doc I was seeing was just getting me started on Enbrel, but since I've held off taking it for now, I guess there is no reason not switch at this point. I think one of the doctor's near me is a woman as well - I wonder if that is a good thing?
I hate spending $25 bucks to be given a guess or a shoulder shrug followed by a "loose weight" when I need help in that subject because of all these issues. Though, I think some of it at this point is I'm scared to hear bad news as well. You know, the stupid way of thinking - "if I ignore it, maybe it will disappear" take on it all.
The job is going okay. It's been easy so far, but they are going to start putting me on projects soon. Oh well, the easy ride was nice while it lasted. 
The 24 hours seem just right, any more is too much, that is for sure. Sometimes I wonder if I'll survive 24! I know, that's pathetic - but considering I spent more time in bed than anything else these past 15 months, I guess I should be happy I'm doing what I am so far. I just hope I can continue it as I've completely given up on SDI for now and hope my doctor doesn't pitch a fit when she finds out i went back to work.

CaMama, sorry to hear the hard time you've been having lately. It does s*&# when you get a virus on top of everything else, doesn't it? I hope you're feeling better soon. If time allows you to change rheumies, then I say go for it. If you've just started enbrel, I'm sure the next rheumy would continue the tx. I hope you're feeling better soon.
I feel great today! I finally did my enbrel injection, only 5 days late (because of the strep infection I had), and though I hurt right through last night, I woke up with less pain and stiffness this morning. Yay enbrel! Hopefully, the enbrel will eventually last through the week...

hey all,ok, in a bad RA flare and despite getting over pneumonia...i think i'm kickin' butt.

3.31 Miles if there is anything i like most, it's reaching a goal. i was aiming @ 2.5 miles but i have this little guru in my heart that says, "What's Your Breaking Point?...Go Beyond That!"
given i could NOT MOVE the nite of nor the day after. LOL.
it is extremely encouraging to actually "see" improvement. i have numbers! i have not been able to stand that much in over a year and a half.
even though this isn't consistent, cannot walk everyday yet; at least i know that my leg strength has improved and that all this treatment is FINALLY doing something.
hope this is a little inspiring for anybody who's not doing too well. i'm starting from a crawl myself.
also must add, this walk i do once a week...that's the only thing i do on that day. hah! so in reality, my endurance does need a bit more work (heck, a lot more work). and i did limp home & the joint pain brought tears to my eyes...BUT I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!

i love my PCP's office. after years and years...ya kinda have a good time when you're just there for blood draws.
and BONUS...i actually looked pretty darn good. had a skirt on! ooh la la.
new phlebotomist! played a good trick on her. i started moaning and screaming for help saying, "OH God SHE's KILLING ME...HELP" broke her in good. a good sport though, she laughed.
one thing i LOVE is to freak out newbies. especially MA's that are in there externships. tee hee hee. i guess we gotta get our kicks somehow?

my PCP mailed me my last bloodwork from thursday. yikes...no wonder i caught pneumonia a few weeks ago 
WBCs dropped really low. they were alright for a month or so but below normal, they hung around 3.0; low but not that bad, but this time! whoa! gotta be careful. 2.7!

Erin, Sorry to hear that you're sick. Hope you're feeling better soon, and can get some sleep. That is so cool that your PCP mails you your bloodwork results. My PCP doesn't even think of offering me a copy, much less mailing them to me. It's like pulling teeth to even get him to share the results. That's why I'm switching.
I'm feeling about the same I do every Thursday. I hurt. But it's towards the end of the week, and I do my enbrel injection on Saturdays now. Usually by Friday, I have trouble walking in the morning. I'm sure once the tramadol kicks in I feel a bit better today. Since I started the enbrel, though, I do have a lot more energy and I no longer feel like I'm getting flu. That feeling on top of joint pains is horrible.
This is my Friday, as I took of work tomorrow! I have a nice 4 day weekend! Happy Memorial Day everyone! Any interesting plans? WE don't have any yet, but I'm open for suggestions!
