Hey, Ducky. Staying in today. Hubby isn't too happy about that, but oh well. I got very light-headed at the office yesterday. This has really set me back, energy-wise.
I had some really weird, tingly, pins and needles sensations in my right hand right before that happened. Felt like hyperventilation. Just staying home today. My breathing tends to get real shallow when I'm running around down at the shop. Anyway, I'm here today. Boo
Uh-oh... you made the right decision to stay home and rest a bit... Maybe you're just a bit run down with the holiday season... le us know how you are doing... gentle hugs coming your way... {{{{{[[[[[(((((HUGS)))))]]]]]}}}}}

Goodmoanin' all,

How many inches did everyone get? confused We've in Jersey about 10!  In the northern parts, I guess by the ocean less.  Looks pretty...but my poor honey is having quite a time driving.  Be safe everyone who lives where it's storming.

Boo, many many times I would get a numbing pins and prickly feeling in my arms and hands would then go cold...then bam, hit the floor.  Passed out cold.  It's a horrible feeling.  How's your blood pressure?  Stay put....good thinking.
So you're happy with the joint replacement eh?  See, I sometimes say to myself I would have my knees out in a heartbeat...but then I think, "Would a fake joint hurt more?  like be more semsitive?"  "does the joint pain come back?"....I sure hope the procedure you had brings relief to you.  I'm happy for you...NOW ONLY IF WE CAN TAKE CARE OF THAT BUSINESS...then all would be right with the world!  tongue Would it be all possible if it were just your hubby & good employees running it?  Would it work?
My good friend owns a small business & I worked there close to 10 years...he's finding it very hard to handle now.  Just gets to a point where it's too much & ya dread going in!  Thoughts are with you Boo!

I'm staying in too.  I've got my cat (Pea) sleepin' next to me.  Joints hurt as per weather related....oh great!  Rented some films.  Wrapping my knees up.  Having a "snowed in" day. VIEW IMAGE VIEW IMAGE open (that's me) tee hee hee.

Erin, you wouldn't believe the relief I'm getting. Still stiff but have excercises for that. Do it, Girl, as soon as you get on Medicare, that is! Boo
How are you guys feeling now that it is later in the day? Boo, I hope the rest did you some good... Erin, you didn't spoil Pea too much did you?

Thanks, Ducky. You're a sweetheart! I did rest all day again. Starting to feel like a slug. I used to burning my candle at both ends. But it doesn't take much to wear me out. My daughter just picked up my grandson. She's on call this weekend and had to cover part of a shift on top of her 8 hours she'd already put in at the hospital lab. When she got here she said she's getting too old for this. I said OH PAAAALEEEEEASE!
I think we are all used to burning our candles as both ends.. then we wonder why we feel so bad! Glad you took some time to your self! You deserve it... Your daughter is funny, how old is she? How old is your grandson?

Ducky, grandson is 7 and daughter is 28 for Heaven's sake! When I was 28 is doing cartwheels! She doesn't know what tired is yet.
I'm going to go try to find some "sensible" shoes. Yuck. How boring. I'm remembering the clogs and platforms I wore in the '80's. Wish I hadn't done that. Boo
Sensible shoes huh? Don't you just hate having to grow up?! hee hee hee.. I hate that I buy shoes for comfort instead of still anymore.... ah, to be in my 20's again! :) Hope everyone is having a good Sunday!

GoodMoanin' all,  cool
Boo, how goes it today?  I know you want to use your new foot...but take it easy, still in the healing process.  Anymore snow?

Mornin' Oreo, Ducky & Camama and everyone!
Had a very nice weekend.  Hands not too good, but I didn't care...so I had to look like a freak at dinner saturday nite trying to hold a fork (with 2 hands! hah)...but when "well lit", everything seems hunkydorry! LOL.  Nothin' a few glasses of vino can't fix.
Wishing all a good day.
:-)

Good morning back at ya! Though, mine is a little sad. I just found out my grandmother passed away this morning. I haven't seen her in over a year. Was too sick to travel when I planned on seeing her this past spring, now I'm not sure I'm able to travel this weekend to say my final goodbyes. I spoke directly to her last on Halloween (almost exatly a year since I saw her last.)

We had a good Saturday, Sunday not so great. I think the excitement of the birthday was too much for my daughter and she was acting up all day Sunday after all the hubbub was over.

Other than the new head cold, I'm okay. My 20 digits have been bugging me. Either from the head cold or the fact the temperature dropped again and it's been very moist out like it's going to rain.

Ah, I can only imagine how wired the kiddies must be...."SUGAR RUSH!".

Ducky....ANOTHER!!!  What about seeing a super-duper urologist?  Like the top-shelf of all GU docs in Carolina?  Is there one?  And we are on the same cycle! Hah!  LOL.  Saturday nite....3am.....woke up to go to the bathroom, and I was like "Carrie" at the prom! eyes    Holy smokes!  I guess that what I get for skipping 2 months.  Guess I'm absolutely not preggers.

Goodmoanin' all,
Holy moly it's 13 degrees here!  VIEW IMAGE Hi Camama, how are you holding up?
Hah!  Ducky, you're drinking a lot?  Jack? Stoli? Dewars? Tequila? LOL... I hope this UTI keeps under control for you.
Everyone who's going through difficult times right now...you're in my thoughts.

Trying to get this disability appeal completed; tough writing.  So tired, trying to WAKE UP!!!!!!!   redface Going to attempt to see how I do on a "full" day.  Have some obligations so we'll see how my body holds up by days end.
Yesterday was one of those, "eat like a lumberjack days"....must have a tapeworm. LOL.  :-)
Oh, my honey must have the "nesting bug"...he emailed me an article about this woman with RA who went into a 10 year remission after getting pregnant.  He called me a while later and said..."Wanna get pregnant honey?".... eyes    The man's gone nuts!  Perhaps his biological clock is ticking?  For someone who was so Anti-Kids, I don't know what happened! I sure hope I get healthier (before he changes his mind!) LOL.  It's nice to hear though.
Here's to a good day (hopefully)
Maybe I need to start drinking like that and it'll get better?  I have an appointment today... wow do I feel bad... sad My back is killing me and I don't know if it's the cramps or the UTI...

Camama, you're not prying, I don't mind the q ......to answer your q...I said almost 10 years ago. It is actually 8 years in April (so right now 7y 10ms) My youngest just turned 8 and I had my tubal when he was almost 6 months old. I started asking about it in Feb when I had what we suspected was a miscarriage (that would have put me at 3 kids in 3 years....ouch). Dr was hesitant to perform the surgery 'cause I was only 23 and far too young to have "that" done. My hubby was turning 31 and he was fine with it. I told my Dr. that if he could guarantee that I wouldn't get pregnant for 1 year and that when I did get pregnant I would have a girl, then and only then, would I consider not having "it" done. Since he couldn't guarantee any of that (not in his control) I was going for it with no hesitation. It was a very interesting visit with the Dr trying and trying to convince me to wait until I was atleast 25 to have it done. What difference would 2 years make when I had already made up my mind!!!!! Oye!! :-)

We are supossed to get up to 15cm of snow between today and tomorrow (probably around 6 in.) Yet another system coming through on a Thursday. The last 3 or 4 Thursdays have had what we call "Alberta clippers" coming through. Basically a fast moving low that brings huge amount of lake effect snow with it. Grand total we have probably received close to 1/2 metre or 18-24 in of snow between all the Thursdays combined. I am beginning to dread Thursdays. At least they are guaranteeing us a white Christmas!!! yipeee!!!!!!!!

Nose is still dripping...driving me nuts but don't want to go get something for it since it isn't acting like an infection yet. Maybe it is my allergies with the furnace running more now. Maybe I should look at getting the ducts cleaned in the new year. We'll see how the money is after Christmas.

Hope all is well with everyone today. Just finished a three day bake-a-thon with my mom doing Christmas cookies. We did 7 different kinds with atleast 6 dozen of each kind. Glad that is done. Now to get them ready for gift giving. That is what I give to all my and my hubbies family members as part of their Christmas gifts. I love the baking but tend to feel pretty ill by the end of the day with all the sampling.

Talk to you all later. My thoughts are with all of you.

God will never give us more then we can handle, I just wish that God didn't trust me so much.
