This forum seems to be working pretty good today for some reason.
I come back here every now and then just to see if it still works.
I’ve been on LDN for 16 months now. It took 10 months to work up to 4.5 mg. There’s a certain repeated cycle (the cycle of weirdness that I call it) as you’re increasing the dose which I increased by .5 mg every several weeks.
After you level off at a dose….. whatever your symptoms are or aren’t ,….should remain and not change.
I can say it doesn’t do much for me. Bummer.
I have even decreased it now to 3.5 and it still doesn’t hold up to its reputation.
One thing it does do is it makes me sleep.
And whatever anxiety I had is almost completely gone, but that’s because the stuff makes me feel so sleepy.
It’s like a sleeping pill. I don’t get much done on my days off and I’m a motivated person. I have to constantly take naps and drink Red Bull Just to remain at a functional level.
I will keep on dropping my dose to see if there are improvements as I’ve read sometimes this happens.
I have autoimmune Hashimoto for quite a while, even though I improved my antibodies tremendously through diet. I still had brain fog could not sleep very well some nights and just have overall body stiffness everywhere.
It could be Lyme disease is coming back, but I don’t really wanna go down that rabbit hole again since there’s no actual test that proves this. I imagine the past I spent as much as $3000 in testing.
I remember two tests said your immune system does not work good enough in order for this test to work, …..then what the hell is the point of that test? Fail.
Anyway, don’t blow your fingers off with firecrackers or anything today!!
Hi, Astroman! Nice to hear from you.
I'm sorry that you've been dealing with fatigue - such a troubling symptom. You're pretty sure it's from the LDN, it sounds like? I know LDN helps a lot of people tremendously, so it was a great idea to try! But it's always such a disappointment when a thing that helps a lot of people doesn't help you.
I agree that there's not much sense in testing for tick-borne infections unless you have had recent tick bites and suspect new co-infections or something.
Hope you had a nice 4th!
Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia, Mycoplasma, EBV
Mold, MCAS, POTS, CFS/ME, HPA axis
