i have trouble swallowing and i get a weird feeling in my throat and somtimes a get burps and they are almost forced up at times and it feels like a lump cums in my thorat ans so weird....does any1 else ever get this? throat becomes supper dry and i heavy swollen feeling in my neck and tounge....i saw a doc and saidmy glands werent swoolen and my throat just seemed a bit red and my otnsils were normal size????? anyone relate ?

That is my only symptom is difficulty swallowing. It gets very nerve wracking but it eventually goes away and then comes back again several months later to plague me again.

how do u get rid of it ????? do u also get the feeling of somthin com in the back of ur throat like a chunk or lump of somthin?also does ur neck muscles hurt and get really tense from all this ?????
my neck muscles hurt sometimes from straining. do you ever get shortness of breath with this too? I do. i also have an anxiety disorder which is what is behind the gerd.
There are these things that I bring up from my throat (warning, this is really gross) like little rocks that stink and they are yellowish white. blah. sorry. they are called tonsilloliths. yuck.
i never get the rock things but yes my neck is very sore and im sure thats it anxiety playing a huge role in all this

I also get the lump in throat feeling. It seems to come and go, and I cant find any certain foods or anything that triggers it more. Sometimes I take 2 GAS X, and it helps, sometimes it doesnt!!...So, Im not sure if it is gas pressure or not.
~And my neck is also sore, mostly left side. I think its straining the ligaments and muscles there from all the burping I do, or from sleeping on left side all the time, or maybe a bit of both .
