Hi everyone. Last week I had about 10 cp's and as a result my Epi started me on a new aed called Lyrica. He said since it's new and so he doesn't have alot of input from his pt's yet. What i've read is that it's similar to Lamictal. Thanks for any input.

What do you think of it? I haven't taken it so can't answer your questions. I like Lamictal a lot though.

Hi everyone. Well i've stopped taking the Lyrica. I would get these feelings of rage and that is a side effect I won't tolerate. The little DBG's don't deserve to be screamed at. It seemed to have the same effect that Keppra has with the "Kepprage". Thanks for the responses. And Daisy, the DBG's send their love

i am awake now but wonder if i should keep on with this or call it a day with it already...what would you do. this is my last try at meds.
i suffer from depresion, aniexty, and chronic pain disorder as well as GSD (gen seizure disorder) on my eeg i had a score of 1 from 0-4 and a digital anylsis done also which told me nothing.
i have this from a car crash that i suffered almost 3 years ago and underwent a posterior and anterior cervical fusion C-5-6-7 which left me with 11 screws and 4 metals plates in my neck. they used my hip bone for the posterior and used allograft (cadaver) for my front of my neck. i had a laminectomy posteriior, foraminotomy, CORPECTOMY front (total removal of diseased bone or shatterd bone from c-1 down to c-5).
i took 5 pints of blood. been on oxy, went off cause i couldnt pee anymore on it, but tolerate viccodin although i am wondering if my liver is rotting away from all the tylenol. i tried topamax (sucked big time) and other junk that i had to stop.
a friend of mine who has 'fibro' told me about lyrica. i have constant pain nearly 24/7 on a scale of about 5-6 on meds and 9 off. so i call the doctor and this is what he gave me, they dont know what else to give me anymore as i tried lots including prozac, paxil, effexor (awful to get off from) celexa, lexapro you name it i been there.... anyone have any other bad stuff rom lyrica??????????? thanks
