Have to share with you the best day----

Today we had my wonderful daughter's 6th birthday party .  We had about 7 of her little girlfriends and several of their Mom's are dear friends who hung around to help.  We had play time and a fun craft and ice cream cake and goodie bags for all.  Everyone got along great and had fun.  She loves all her new gifts and got great craft things we can do together.  My wonderful sister in law Mary is here and helps in so many ways.  She is always ready to listen AND do laundry , dishes and rub me down with lotion!

Things have changed a lot around here in the past week.  My dear sweet incredible husband went to work Tuesday and arranged to take time off work.  We are planning a month and then to see how things are going.  He is helping so much with the kids and the days are just wonderful.  We have gone out for ice cream to celebrate good report cards and enjoyed planning this party so much.  We hope to take the kids fishing next weekend.  We have had good talks with the kids about things going on and they seeem to grasp them in their age appropriate ways.

I am doing 2 chemos right now-- the methotrexate in my head and taxotere weekly.  The onc expects I will have response from these. Today my eyes feel a bit better and I'm praying the methotrexate is kicking in.  Today is the first day I've felt like I can post so I'm taking that as a positive sign with my eyes too.

Anyway. just wanted to share with you how often I think of you all and how much your cards and prayers mean.

Love to all,
Mightybeck
Becky,

How great to hear from you. I'm glad your husband is so supportive. That makes a lot of difference. And I'm really happy that you had a wonderful birthday party for your daughter, and that YOU were able to enjoy it, too. Celebrating the big and little things in life is so important. Thanks for sharing your good news and wonderful day with us.

L&H,

Rita

Becky, glad your day was wonderful. And your daughter's birthday is the same as mine! Libras are interesting people. You must remember to WATCH HER CAREFULLY!!! LOL tongue My mother could have bent your ear about girls born on 10-9!!

Mega prayers that the chemos will do their magic. And remember 10 years from now when DD gets her license, that we Libra girls drive like "the wind."

Love you, Becky!

Becky, what a wonderful sight to see your name pop up. I am glad you were able to enjoy a wonderful birthday party with your daughter. Sounds like you have some wonderful support there as well. I thought that he was special just during my brief visit at the hospital. Sending you hugs and good wishes for more fun that you ever thought you could handle. Praying that the meds do their magic too.

Love you

Today is a gift, that's why they call it the present!

Becky, it is great to see your post. Your husband sounds like a jewel, and your children we know are very dear because we got to see them. Being surrounded by such a wonderful family has to mean so much to you. Your sister in law has been so great for you. She is an extra blessing of your family. You deserve all the kindness and love you are getting because you are one terrific person. I will continue to pray that your treatments really do some good. Love you, MK

(((Becky))), so wonderful to read your post filled with happiness. Our children make this wretched disease worth fighting. DH is a keeper, what a generous thing he's done for you, the children and for himself. Sending the biggest hugs as ever, Luci
