note: i also had a sinus infection about 3 weeks ago (around same time as accident). my nasal passages havent been TOTALLY clear since...dont know if that has ANYTHING to do with it. thanks again!
anyone?
As a physician I can tell you that it is highly highly unlikely that occasional twinges in your head represent a brain tumor. They may or may not be related to your accident but are unlikely to represent anything serious. The fact that you are having neck symptoms after what I assume was a motor vehicle crash is something that might bear further investigation, especially if you have never had any neck symptoms before. You should probably see your primary care physician and have a thorough exam including a neurological examination. That will address your neck (and your head, which if it is only occasional twinges is probably nothing serious). There is no point putting this off due to fear over a brain tumor because from what you are saying you do not have a brain tumor. Overlooking a neck injury, however, could be unwise (and neck injuries can on occasion give rise to headaches.) So see a doctor and that way you can stop worrying. Good luck.

Rightcoastsurf,

You don't really need us for validation of your headaches, cuz it just don't work that way.  I'm sure most all of us have experienced the level of pain you have now, some far worse, and some with far more frequently.  However, that doesn't make a hill of beans of difference to you.

We believe and trust that you have the headaches and neck difficulties that you say you do, but you need to convey this infomation to your employer as soon as possible.  Document your condition with as much paperwork as is available. That way, if you start having to miss work for doctors appointments or need to stay home because of a really bad headache, the stage for this has already been set.  You should also keep your Health and Safety/Human Resources people aware of any updates in you situation, in case you need to take some of that Family Leave Time off, so you don't loose your job.  I had to do that a couple of years ago, and I was in continuous pain, so I was thankful that I had done some of the paperwork ahead when things weren't so bad.

I would not try any alternative methods of medicine until I had checked out the regular ones first.

Hope things work out for you.  Let us know.

rightcoastsurf,

What are you studying in school?

What hobbies do you have?

Do you have frieds you can go out with.

Twinges are okay. There are those of us that live with excrutiating pain in our head everyday and its not a brain tumor. There is no need to worry. I highly recommend you find something else to focus on. If you're interested in your school work read more about it, as long as its not medical. Find a hobbie, get a job. There is so much more to life than worrying about your aches and pains.

Trust me as I lie here with a migraine headache.
